Modified One Cam Bow

Hoyt Cam .5 & Darton CPS Bows
These one cam bows do not use the long strings like a standard one cam bow. The string is effectively split at the top cam, so there is a bowstrings and a control cable.

The bowstrings do not use the same length servings on both ends like a two cam bow uses, one serving being much longer. The bowstrings are in the same length range as a 2 Cam bowstring but are not interchangeable.

The remaining section of the one cam bowstring that would come from the back of the top wheel to the lower cam, is called a CONTROL CABLE. The control cable differs from a BUSS CABLE also due to much longer servings.

The power cable or yoke cable is the same specifications as a standard yoke cable and are interchangeable.
